Bromberg & Associates provides two types of editing services - editing and proofreading:

1. Editing involves careful reviewing of the translated document and comparing it to the original as well as checking the translation for accuracy, grammar and terminology.
2. Proofreading means checking the translated text only for grammatically and idiomatically correct language (this service does not include comparison of the translated text and its original).

Both services are concentrated only on the content of the documents. For matching the corresponding formatting and layout additional services are provided.

At Bromberg Translation Services we include proofing and editing with all translations done by our firm. However, we will also provide the same high-level professional proofing and editing services to review translations done by individuals outside our firm. For instance, if you have someone on staff who occasionally does translations, or you received files translated by your foreign partne, you may feel more comfortable after that translation is proofed by a professional translator.

If you are opening a business in another country and have depended on local contacts in that country for translation you may want to have the documents proofed by someone who reads them to make sure that your translations are grammatically correct and have your intended meaning.
