Consecutive Interpretation
Workshop
- Learn various techniques on how to perform flawless
consecutive interpretations in medical and legal settings.
- Learn some basic techniques in note-taking in order to prepare
for the consecutive interpreting portion of the State Certification exam.
- Exercise
materials include: recordings of authentic legal and medical procedures.
2. Scheduled for October 25,
2007 from 1p.m. to 5p.m. Simultaneous Interpretation
Workshop
- Learn various techniques on
how to perform flawless simultaneous interpretations in medical and legal
settings in order to prepare for the simultaneous interpreting portion of the
State Certification exam.
- Review the types of SI
equipment and its applicability.
- Discuss the difference
between simultaneous conference interpreting and other types of simultaneous
interpreting.
- Test
your abilities through practical exercises
Payment for the training
sessions is as follows:
Bromberg
& Associates contract interpreters - $ 55.00 per each seminar
Non–B&A
contract interpreters - $ 90.00 per each seminar
